Surveillance/Data to Action
The Surveillance/Data to Action Subcommittee works to improve ACE/PCE surveillance infrastructure, collect state-level data on ACEs and PCEs, utilize data on social determinants of health, synthesize near real-time ACEs and PCEs data, use surveillance findings to tailor and improve strategy implementation, and develop data products such as data dashboards, infographics, and fact sheets. The committee meets monthly to review ACE/PCE surveillance and data to action products and make recommendations for improvement.

Strategic Planning
The Strategic Planning and Evaluation Subcommittee provides feedback on primary prevention strategies and recommends data-informed improvements. Current priorities focus on strengthening economic supports through family-friendly workplace policies and promoting social norms that protect against violence and adversity through a public education campaign that reduces stigma around parental help-seeking behaviors. Agencies dedicated to child well-being and advancing data-informed prevention efforts are encouraged to join this collaborative initiative. Meetings are held monthly, except during summer, when they occur every other month.
